Hi Rachida, sorry to hear that you have to wait👎 The good thing is you are in the system now and treatment is starting to speed up.Try not to let it get you down hard I know but your time will come. Did you manage to find out what your geno type is? Xx

Aww sorry to hear you're having to wait. The sickest do get treated first so I can only try and make you feel a little better by guessing this is due to no liver damage, low viral load and generally feeling well. From major symptoms, very high liver enzyme results (11 years steady) & pretty poorly, took me 8 months for specialist and then another month for treatment. Phone the hospital and say you will take any cancellations,

best wishes 😍😍

That's understandable, but your viral load is low and that's a good thing. Most are in the millions. I did the same thing with my gp & got the appt quicker. Keep reading the good stuff, and be kind to yourself, rest & think this time next year this will be a distant memory and you will be clear of the virus. 😍😍

Hiya, like susy said don’t worry yourself or youlle make yourself feel worse your viral load is very low and although your infected it’s only a teeny bit at the minute 5 months wait will soon come for you put it to the back of your mind knowing youlle get rid of it soon, you’ve probably only had for a couple of years lots of us here had it a lot longer I for one at least 25 years and I’m clear now youlle be ok 👍

As the others have said, your viral load is very low. I had to wait about 10 years for treatment and my viral count was in millions. I had ' regular' check ups during that whole period - either 6 or 9 or 12 months apart - which is what will happen with you and they will monitor you closely. Don't fret too much. I found that when I got depressed I was able to tell myself that it was only the disease and not really me that was depressed and that helped me get through every day.

Stay positive and listen to the advice of the people in this group. Good luck

Lin 🤗

Hi Rachida I have been waiting a long time too ..I have finally got a date in just over a week's time ..it is frustrating I have no idea what type I have what my viral load is nobody seemed to want to tell me until I see the consultant ..today I am having an op to remove a lump from my bowel that was found while they were investigating what was wrong before I knew I had hep C ..so keep positive and you will get seen use this time to keep yourself as well as you can ..I know how depression can affect your mind and health so go back to your GP and tell him how you're feeling ..I'm sure you will hear soon xxx

Thanks Alan I've just finished the last of the prep ready to go in ..I think sometimes the stuff you have to do beforehand is so yucky it's as bad as the treatment 😀 fingers crossed it will all be ok xx
