if I was on the original dose I’d be halfway through today but only a quarter now since they doubled the time ...
I’ve managed 8000 steps today, in two decent walks, and that’s me starting on my way back to the life I had. Tomorrow I might take the camera out and see if I can manage to get some good shots of a herd of roe deer.
But just now I’m taking a real sadistic and vindictive pleasure out of crushing some empty medicine boxes under my boots ...

Hi Toto's owner. Satisfying, isn't it? Each empty packet, each day, soon as I've finished swallowing the nasty things i pop all the plastic bubbles then wreck it. Smash each box weekly. But tomorrow is my first day of an empty big box.......and my plan is to annhialate that, too. It will mark 4 miserable weeks. Only 20 more to go. I have to stop thinking like this or i may give up. How're you, anyway?

Thanks Cathy, that's so kind. Don't remember if i've said but hospital yesterday was horrendous. It's a massive hospital and walking through it was like wading through thick mud, i was exhausted. Nurse said my haemoglobin, already low 2 weeks ago, was extremely low now, causing every symptom(exhaustion, going yellow, crying or shouting at poor Sam, sickness, and a myriad of other unwanted things). So she's halved the Ribavirin......result!!!!! Said about 3 days I'd start to feel better. I do already....i think. Not so sick. Still totally exhausted though. I read all the time, not too much of a tv fan, though I watch a little. It's the concentration that's the problem here! Anyway, should be ok soon so I'll quit whinging now. As for you, you must feel on Cloud 9 - and you deserve to! You can slowly get back to just being Mummy. And i certainly don't mean the diminishing 'just Mummy'! What i mean, i think you know, is that you can take pleasure in just being normal, not apart because you have some nasty bug inside, making you feel less than. You and i have more in common than you realise. I'm just not ready to share my past. Just know i understand pretty much everything you said and been through. All the very best for your future, Cathy, and with your positivity i can see it's going to be long, interesting and family-love filled. Warmest Regards.
I get you with the hospital although I’ve had a far easier time of it on treatment than you bless you.I’ve had an appointment every Wednesday morning at 9am and the first few weeks of treatment having to travel there and walk feeling like you said through mud feeling like I was about to hit the deck any moment👎an wouldn’t you know every Wednesday morning bloody weathers vile🤣
Your concentration will start improving when you get better. It wasn’t so long ago when I couldn’t even read a paragraph.That book I recommended will be really good for you at this time. Angels in my hair Lorna Byrne it is amazing such a lovely book I’ve just ordered another 2 by her eBay £2.50 😜And the blue Kynite crystal someone told me about is a godsend.
And you are not whinging! That is what we are all here for to be there and support each other🙌
And no one has to share anything they don’t want too😊 I probably share too much🤣 you just concentrate on a full recovery. And don’t forget to be kind to yourself.
