My higher rate DLA finished in Feb 15 after a long battle that went to tribunal which I was too ill to attend, but won on merit. I have survived Non hodgkins Lymphoma 22 years ago but the radiation and chemo has left me in heart failure and severe lung disease. I am prone to shortness of breath and constant chest infections making me almost house bound in the cold winter months. I re-applied for PIP and was turned down, I submitted a recent MRI scan of my heart function (which wasn't good) and have now been awarded lower rate PIP, should I just accept it and carry on or should I persevere and fight for higher rate and risk loosing what I have already been awarded. Any ideas out there
