SVT Diagnosis

I had a funny turn in March where I ended up in A&e with heart rate of 250. I was diagnosed with SVT. Had another episode this week. Heart rate got to 260. When they tried to bring it down it just kept flipping back to tachycardia. After several hours and a cardiologist with me it came down. The day after I felt great (maybe drugged up). Felt awful all week. Is it this normal to be soooo tired? Also been started on Bisoprolol 5mg od, Flecainide 50mg bd.

Any advice would be great.

It is completely normal to feel tired, I always feel knocked out the next day. If you think about it, your heart has run a marathon! Give up anything with a stimulant in, such as tea, coffee, alcohol, nicotine. X

Guess we are all different. It doesn't affects me at all once I've stopped cycling. Some days I average 190 bpm with highs of 240 bpm. Most days after an SVT event though I won't have an SVT event for another week or more. Seems to depend more on my IBS than anything else, so diet seems to be the key for me.

All the best.
