Hi guys, I would like to know if any of you had suffer a really long PVC and PAC attack. I have experienced PVC and PAC since I was a teenager. I'm now 45. The episodes come and go, sometimes they last for months, sometimes for days, sometimes I go for months without any serious episodes but last Friday out of the blue I experienced the worst ever. 45min of continuous trigemini and bygeminy. I ended shaking with the fear and completely loosing it thinking I was going to die....Saturday and Sunday was bad but not as bad as Friday, yesterday I was fine. I contacted my cardiologist and told me not to worry, he prescribed tambocor today and gave me an ultrasound scan but after reading loads on it I'm actually scared to take it. Also scared to experience another session like last Friday. Anyone here has any advice or has experienced such a long session?

Hej

I felt the same. I am 61 now. PVC started about 10 years ago. Like you say: The episodes come and go, sometimes they last for months, sometimes for days, sometimes I go for months without any serious episodes

I could not work just thinking what is going on. I felt them like skipped beats 6-12 per minute,

felt them in my neck, stomach, chest .. terrible. Dr. offered me antidepressant and I did not want it. After many years I said to myself that this is not life and I have to do something. So I decided for antidepressant for anxiety- Paroxitine. It is almost 2 years now and I feel super.

Think about it.

I was experiencing a lot of PVCs recently and one doctor told me that my potassium levels were in the low normal range and suggested that I increase potassium rich foods. I decided to try that and at the same time, increased my intake of magnesium rich foods. Taking magnesium supplements doesn't work for me since they tend to decrease my already low blood pressure. It may be a coincidence, but the PVCs subsided considerably. I also make sure to stay well hydrated and keep my stress level down as much as possible since these 2 issues seem to increase the incidence of PVCs. Good luck to you!
