New to community. Only ventricular fire connected in 2 port ICD

Hi

I am serce.I have not had the courage to post previously because I have so many issues including mitral valve replacement tricuspid tightening and bypass to LAD carried out abroad.

I needed an urgent ICD implantation 2 weeks later mainly for 2nd degree Heart Block.

The wonderful Consultant tried to connect my Mediotronic 2 port ICD but as I was bleeding severely He decided it was too dangerous to carry on with Implantation into my atrium to deal with proximal atrial arrhythmia.I am however protected by the ventricular wire and have a. MyCareLink monitor.

I would welcome advice from anyone in a similar position

I was told that when my ICD is replaced probably 5 years after implantation they will try again.

Sorry this is serce. My post should read that only the ventricular lead could be connected in my 2 port ICD because of excessive bleeding.

Is there anyone in the same position please?
