Hi, I am Asian and obese with 32.1 BMI. I did my ECG 3 times 2-3 years ago and came normal. Today morning i just had a 3 ectopics beats in a row and no other symtoms. I just felt 3 beats when i placed my finger near neck. Now i am worried about it. Generally i am good in health and blood pressure 130/90 and resting heart rate around 56bpm. I did my breakfast and slept again but i woke up coz i got palpitation not more than 100bpm but when i felt a thud immediately i kept my finder on neck and felt 3 ectopics beats in a row. What exactly is this? Is it dangerous ar normal?

Doctors do not regard ectopic beats as dangerous, I,ve had them for 43 years, I got Svt a few years ago which has got worse where I have to go to hospital to have my heart put back to a normal beat, my heart has been 197 beats a minute at that time. If the ectopics continue see your doctor .

Do not worry about it. Do not count all the time your pulse. Ignore those beats.

I have had them for 7 years. It is better now. I take magnezij daily - 250mg

Previous people are right. Some people have 1000s a day and doctors don’t do a thing about it in a healthy heart. Key words though are healthy heart. If you continue to have issues, they might want to check things out more thoroughly with an echo and stress test. If they last for more than 30 min go ahead and go to the hospital to get checked. Then they can find out what rhythm your in and get you out of it then treat it properly over time. And, yes, you can have svt at night. Used to happen to me several nights a week but only for a few minutes.
