I have bad anxiety, GAD, so my doctors have written off my cardiac symptoms as symptoms of anxiety. But tonight I noticed a sign of edema (I believe) on my upper thigh. I was sitting on the couch and my boyfriend had his hand on my thigh just above my knee. When I moved to get up I noticed indentations where his fingers were. It looked like I was hit very hard. The indentations didn't go away for about 5 minutes. I'm used to the indentations I get from leaning against something like a countertop but he was resting his hand on my leg while he slept, so basically weightless. I feel it's a sign of edema. Am I right in my thinking or is this normal? I've included a photo of my leg to show my weight. The marks have since gone away. I'm 5'9 and between 160-170lbs. My fingers and feet have always had swelling since I was a teenager.
