Hello I’m new here just found out I’m deaf so upset any tips?

Did your go do the hearing test or did you go to audiologist? If your hearing is severe enough you may need to get hearing aides. I see a few young people wearing them. Better to wear them and being able to hear than miss what has been said.

Audiologist and yes don’t want to wear hearing aids in case I get bullied

Must be a younger person. Sorry to hear that getting hearing aides would get you bullied. That's not right.

I can imagine the people in college can still be rude. Has the hearing loss affected your classes a far as hearing the teacher or other students as they talk? One can imagine if your missing things that it could affect grades and communication barriers.
