how do people on the forum cope with sleep when u have tinnitus ios any bodat struggling with sleep like me I fall a sleep ok but some times when I wake up I struggle to fall back to sleep any boday else having the same problem dose bimuno help u to sleep

Yes have had trouble sleeping, but do you have Tinnitus Maskers with white noise on, as I use these plus a noise machine, river noise, the sea, birds tweeting, what ever you like, it's not good to try and fall asleep without any noises in the back ground, use the white noise maskers, put them under one ear, don't use the radio, that's too distracting, ask your doctor for Amitriptyline if you can, or try herbal ones from chemist, hope This helps, go to bed when you're really tired, the same time every night,

I am fortunate i get tinnitus only occasionally , i bought a sound oasis machine it looks like a thin radio, i fastened it to the wall just above the head board , i can use it with ear buds, or connect it to a pillow i have that has speakers in it, it can be set to run for various lengths of time and various sounds , as T-shirts described, i find it very helpful.
