hi ,good afternoon every one , i wear two hearing aids , suffer from occasional tinnitus , i started to go deaf in my early 30s due to working in noisy surroundings, i have always worked in heavy industry :ships engine rooms, boiler making shops, fired many a rifle round in the army all of which according to the experts contributes to industrial deafness.

i was paid £2,500 compensation in the 80s, apart from the army and merchant navy, all the places i worked have long gone :so i don`t think i would get very far with compen claims ,£ 18,000 sounds nice though .

Hello whit, my hearing is down to 25-30%. Some of the loss was work related but most was from an autoimmune disease. I also wear two hearing aids. I was just wondering how you were making out with yours and what other hearing devices you are using.

hi, i get along ok with my aids, i use a sound oasis for my occasional" bouts"of tinnitus,which help me alot through the night ,when it usually starts
