What sort of scoliosis is this?

Here I am again, but I suppose having combinations of various distinct medical conditions some quite rare means me to swot up on various medical condition symptoms, that is why you see my name in so many emails! I have a neuroma on the lumbar part of my spine [NF2] this is causing my spine to twist around deforming my diaphragm, [SCOLIOSIS] but this has now got to the stage that it is restricting my breathing to my brain, plus the "embarrassing side effects" of Fycompa for my epilepsy [EPILEPSY] leading to hyper activity again affecting my brain's working? A lot of these 'conclusions' are due to my research rather than a particular well qualified medical person, as my 'condition' covers the boundaries of many medical fields. So in effect means I would be out of my local GP's range? Plus I'm no doctor!

What a mess for you.

Have you requested a referral to appropriate specialist services such as a neurologist or orthopaedic dept.?

Have you been referred to a physiotherapist for exercises that can assist you to retain your range of motion, perhaps work on the scoliosis and any restrictions on your breathing (there are specialist respiratory physiotherapists). At the very least they should be able to advise you on adapting round your non-healing rib.

Have just had a MRI, neurologists looking at results right now, due to a cancelation, [eight weeks] the relief for me and friends and family, notice for surgery next few days, all in their hands, thanks ITYFIALMCTT for your advice. The rib is under my right arm, falling off an exercise bike was the cause of that, but far enough down to be guarded by the arm pit and is not aggravated by using the right arm! After surgery a bit of out and about will help my situation, maybe a holiday?

I have similar problems that sit on cusp of many depts & so, because of incorrect funding & admin on remits in charge you are sent like a headless chicken round & round in circles to no avail .Then blamed .In my case it has caused MI when they themselves via LAs physically targeted the neglected heart failure symptoms wit elected reps allowing this to happen This is despite Drs working in both private & NHS sectors part time not having taken Hippocratic oaths saying don't want to address hospitals who they are supposed to be linked to ?Now they no longer have the Funds to keep control as have allowed Contracts & Remits so need to return Funding to Hospital specialists who see ethical operation is happening checking there ate at least 2 who are Full time

They have even tried to make my protests a mental issue When dementia could be there genetically it is used against you're physical/mental when neurological .If you live on a Boundary just moved makes you an east target for unreasonable inappropriate Cuts to treatment & assistance .

I have seen it in my online Notes they refuse to edit even with Cauldicott Guardian that the hidden spina bifida abnormal EEG found is of no consequence despite the MI 11 yrs ago .

I am pretty sure it underlies most of conditions that NHS has deliberately neglected Cutting off even when Primary Sector told me not taught about research and disability yet there are Equalities Laws brashly ignored ?

Using decentralisation the Government can bury its head in sand blaming /rationing others. Those in discretionary areas This is shameful when supposed to be protecting the most Vulnerable.

Even when paid for apps & testing refused in NHS & had NHS Doctors working in Private sector requesting direction to them it has not happened using PAs thinking understand medical criteria judging at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital re scoliosis [ spina bifida] spasticity spasms ?This rigid thinking has caused our problems as it appears NHS constitution is a figment of the imagination.

Yet my late father, a Pharmacist, caught prostrate cancer early moved back to NHS & extended life over 30 years .Is that flexlty & decency happening now , I wonder what statistics are? I dread to think?

As for the Charities they disgracefully take the side of who funds them.
