Cures via the telephone?

Especially for the weak, aged or people limited disabilities. They are rung up asking the person have they heard about this brand new relief medication, could they send finances to etc, etc. These people ask their 'customers' if they have heard about these brand new 'cures' or relief for their ailments, they say that they represent this 'brand' new medical company, [so they can cover a wider field of their 'patients' ailments]. Then they either, if they have their bank details, they do not reply or send their medical medicines via the post. I did, and they sent me blue pills [colored chalk pills] they must have found my bank balance at that time was particularly low, but I changed my bank details soon after. Be careful it does happen!

I am very confused with this comment: I did, and they sent me blue pills [colored chalk pills] they must have found my bank balance at that time was particularly low, but I changed my bank details soon after. Be careful it does happen!

For any payment you give credit card or debit card details, account number and the three numbers at the back of the card and no other details.

The questions is how did they access you account to find funds very low?

When you say you changed your bank details, are your referring to getting new debit by changing the bank account number or the credit card to have new account number and other details.

This is very new to me, thanks for your post.

I foolishly gave them my credit card number [very sick at the time] which they used to get £147 out of me. I was lucky that they did not get anymore money out of my credit card, I changed bank details. This happened about 5 years ago, but this 'system' is still being used.
