Hi wiserlady I must admit to enjoying all of those listed items. But I particularly enjoy a slice of Christmas cake alongside a cup of coffee or tea - I like the richness of the fruit cake and the marzipan and icing - it's a delicious combination.

I also really like Christmas puddings that have some nuts and a splash of cognac or brandy. Very nice blend of flavours - especially with some vanilla custard.

What is your preference?

Zest :-)

I’ve never had Yule log but I like everything else. Every Christmas I make a truffle - my new son-in-law tells me it's the best he’s ever tasted 😉

I love the thought of Pumpkin Pie, but I've never had it.

Hi wiserlady, I quite enjoy a well made home baked mince pie. And if there's a Christmas pudding that makes it till Easter, I enjoy a little of that around then, but not at Christmas. For preference, as a dessert, I'd go for the Yule log i think. When it comes to Christmas cake I prefer the Caribbean version which minces up all of the fruit and includes copious amounts of wine and spirits, usually rum!

I think for me it would be Yule log or Christmas cake with Icing 😁 as long as they are Vegan then I wouldn't mind any listed, except for Mince Pies - never liked those

Actually don't think I like any of them 🤔 I'm an oddity, in that I don't like chocolate cakes, candied peel or custard, which basically rules out all Christmas desserts :)

Cheese on the other hand is an essential!

With crackers or French Bread.

Definitely crackers :)

Don't mind the odd mince pie, but Christmas pud? Urgh.

Much the same for Christmas cake, I prefer a Stollen.

Yule log? no thanks.

Trifle? if I make it myself; then I can put what I like in it!

Turkey? Yeah, once a year, but the turkey crown I had was only a half-crown! (Old English Joke there.) A Half crown was two shillings and sixpence in old money, or twelve and a half pence.

Brussels sprouts? NEVER!

Breakfast is Salt Beef in bagels with cream cheese and a dill pickle.

Looking at that lot I seem to go a bit international!

Cheers, Midori

My mum made a great Yule log with a chestnut filling 😋 Unfortunately this is a terrible photo, it's very dark.

I'm with Cooper27 on this in that I don't like any of them. They're all far too sweet and sickly for me. I generally have fresh fruit for dessert.
