I had brisket with carrots, salad with dressing that was homemade Thousand Island and a snickerdoodle gluten free cookie for dinner last night. It had 80 carbs. for the entire meal and everything was delicious. There’s leftover brisket for another dinner next week.

Thank you, Debs. The brisket was really delicious and its leftovers will be for another Friday night with green beans (hopefully) this time. Can’t wait! 😀👍

Green beans are one of my favorite green vegetables that we have for different side dishes now and then with dinners. :-)

Hi Imaaan ,

Yes, everything was really delicious and you’re right about the amount of protein that was in the meal. 😀👍

It’s been a while since I had brisket for a meal. My brother had made brisket for dinner a few weeks ago for the family while we were there on a weekend night.😀👍👍

I love brisket of beef Leah. The whole meal sounds really tasty. Don't you just love the name 'snickerdoodle' too. Just the word makes the cookies sound delightful!

Yes, you’re right about the snickerdoodle and brisket. I really enjoy them and their names, Sue. Not sure who came up with the names, but I may look them up soon.😀👍👍

Lol, I think the term 'brisket' is an old butchery term, but who came up with snickerdoodle I have no idea at all, but it's really a fun name!

That’s a great explanation for the name for brisket. Thank you for letting me know that, Sue. Snickerdoodle may have been named that because someone likes them and didn’t know what else to call them at the time?😀👍👍
