Lovely Piece of Steak

Dear All,

Today I bought, amoungst other 'things', a lovely piece of Steak that I covered in 'fresh crushed' pepercorns. I fried some Mushrooms, in a 'nob' of butter, and boiled a Corn on the Cob.

Even though I say so myself.... it was georgious. The only 'thing' is.... I could/ should have asked for a Bigger Steak😋.

My son bought us both a Wagyu steak back in July. It truly is the most amazing steak! Never had anything like it.

Bloody expensive though!

I don't 'Know' Wagyu Steak, mine was a 'Piece Of Rump'- cut by the Butcher himself. Is 'Wagyu' similar to TBone? (Perhaps unknown here, in the UK?)

Hi Andrew, Yes I'm in UK. Wagyu is the Japanese Beef from Kobe cattle, the ones who are massaged and fed beer!

Dear Midori,

Now you actually 'Say' it.... I DO know of them. I might, just 'ask', my Butchers about these. It is a Very 'High End' Butchers, near to were I used to live.... Make their own Sausages, Smoke their own Ham, and actually 'Butcher Down' their own meat.... not like the Supermakets, who have 'pre-cut' joints/ slabs- from which they simply Slice the Steak, Chop and so forth. They are also Supplier of good quality, Cold Pressed, Rape Oil- quite unlike the commercial 'Stuff'. (Think 'fresh', verses 'tinned' peas)

So what am I having, for dinner, tonight- having bought several different meats yeaterday? Well actually a 'Chinese'- 'they' have a lovely Thia Curry😋.
