Hi everyone,

This was in the papers today and Nicola Sturgeon has pledged to cut childhood obesity in half in Scotland by 2030. I think its important to spread the word about healthy eating and exercise for everyone. And our children and grandchildren are 'our' future...

So next week its walk to school week and Tuesday 22nd is Happy Shoesday to encourage children to wear happy shoes to school on and I think that anything that helps promote better health in others is good. And you've got a heads up now if you're a parent. 😊

Great news regarding Nicola Sturgeon's pledges to cut childhood obesity in half in Scotland by 2030.

Interesting to hear about Happy Shoes Day on Tuesday - and imagining 'Happy Shoes to School' - I bet they will enjoy those walks.
