It seems to me that one of two things has changed for you to put on 10Kg - either your eating/drinking habits have changed since marriage or your metabolism has? Birth control pills??

Hi. I can recommend reading The Gut Makeover by Jeanette Hyde. There is a 4 week plan but it is strict with definite results and you eat a lot so no need to feel hungry. Basically you cut out all the processed food. No alcohol, sugar, dairy, gluten and pulses so eating plenty of vegetables, eggs, meat and fish and 2 portions fruit a day. The first week is hard going as your body detoxes. I didn't do it to lose weight it was for ibs but I lost 3 lb in first week and it has improved my digestion massively. Book is available on Amazon.

Good luck

Hi there I have the same issue and reflect that it's probably due to portion size and the fact that my hubby is a snacker whereas I never used to be. In the last year I've also been diagnosed with hypothyroid too which is slowing my metabolism down. It's really hard to say no to snacks and the puddings he loves ! Just try and focus on your portion size and see if that is the key - it helped me, plus I also did the couch to 5k programme All the best :)

Good morning Hildaneno 😊

Well done on your gym membership 😊 Regular exercise has so many benefits to health and well being. 😊

However, to lose weight we need to alter our food intake. The good news is, to lose 1/2 kilo a week a deficit of 500 calories a day is all that is needed. 😊

Whilst counting calories can be tedious, some knowledge is important to understand how our bodies use food for fuel. Also, as the gym equipment tells you approximate calories burned you will appreciate how hard it is to burn 200 calories, and maybe think twice about what you put in your mouth!! Lol 😊

If you need help losing weight, take a look at the weight loss forum, especially the "welcome newbies" post which has lots of helpful info 😊

Good luck!
