Drink more water!!!!!
Same Here! I will have trouble getting up to the eight glasses though
I am terrible for forgetting to drink. At the moment, I'm filling 2x 500ml bottles in the am and aiming to drink them both by about 2pm, before filling them and aiming to drink them both before bed (if I fall a little short because I'm not thirsty, that's fine). I dunno if that might help you too?
Yes, I agree. Silly thing is, I always feel better when I do drink more water. My skin is much improved too. I simply forget as I don't get thirsty often. Got to give it a good go, though!
eat early and not snack in the evening
Eat less sweets ๐ซ
I must stop eating chocolates, I think I'm getting a bit addicted this is a new thing for me, I didn't really bother about them before lol ๐ฌ๐โน๏ธ
Is there any chance you can hide the chocolate ๐ซ you already have in your home & forget about it. Failing that, if you have any solid bars or chocolate buttons, they could be put in your freezer where thereโs less chance of you bringing them out . I have 3 bags of plain chocolate buttons in the freezer which have been there for many months. And Iโve resisted buying any more.
I buy one bar of 80% dark chocolate per week. I know where it is and we have it one square at a time. I also make my husband one fruit cake a week and I have to ask him to hide it from me!
Less ready meals, cooking from scratch
Hi Jerry
I've gone for lower carb foods, more fruit and veg (the low fodmap diet can make this a bit of a challenge) and less sugar ie always use cacao powder in my homemade mocha, not chocolate powder.
Thank you Cooper27 for the poll.
Alicia
Less cheese, less snacking
If I manage it, eat less cake ๐๐
No change.
Iโm hoping to grow more of what we eat
Just eat less altogether.
No gluten
Eat as little sugar as I can bear.. other than that I eat very healthily anyway.
cut out unhealthy snacks.
Eat more of a selection of fruit and veg and drink more water
cook more
Drink more water.
my plant based diet is good but not perfect, I eat a lot of bread and rice and I know I should switch to whole-grain versions, but it's much harder to bake with whole wheat flour, and Basmati rice is so much nicer and faster to cook than brown rice...
Already LCHF and IF. Have been since February 2020.
I grow most of my own veg and soft fruit.
I have been running/jogging since August, and always drink 2.5-3 litres of water every day ๐
I like that people are aiming to drink more water
I've also ticked less sugar - my intake has crept up in lockdown, and I don't want to have as much.
About 4 weeks ago, I decided and have stuck with it, for: No eating after 9 pm. No added salt on meals, And from January Iโm adding, no more shop bought sweet biscuits.
Hiya. I don't do well with changing my diet. I eat very little meat, lots of veg and pulses and a few treats. Everything in moderation ๐
Hi Jerry,Hope Iโm doing this correctly!
No change as already donโt eat meat and would never count calories!
Just going to try to focus on healthier snacks, difficult with a chocolate addiction but I can do it if I can find good old willpower ๐
More plant based protein.
I just hope that seeing we can trade with anyone in the world now our foods and healthier foods will be a lot cheaper now
We already eat a healthy low fat diet so no change.
My healthy transition is just to keep up with my healthy eating which I don't find hard as it is a part of my day to day life. But still be aware of my sugar intake as Sugar is the enemy.Great Survey, can't wait for the next one.
