Soup is my choice. It makes you feel warm inside and out in th cold days .
Wonderful idea!
I love soups in the winter, stews to
Which type of stew/soup, Abby14 ?
Sounds good
Soup always leaves me filling hungry, a big pot of stew works far better for me.
I love any LCHF slow cooker stew or curry. A lovely welcome aroma as I walk through the door after work.
Not really a soup fan. And nothing else appealed ☹️
Home made root vegetable soup. I batch cook so my freezer is full for easy dinners. Also great for lunch at work.
Homemade vegetable soup, or chicken soup from a tin. Beef stew a close second, homemade, of course.
My favourite is a lovely thick with meat and vegetables stew, and very occasionally dumplings mmm.
Chilli for me, I eat it with my thermal clothes on, it's so cold, lol. I really love chilli, no matter what season, yum yum Carole
I'm from the UK. I love soup, veggie ones. I like warming things like mashed potatoes/mash which I might have with veggie sausages etc. I must admit the three bean salad threw me. A cold salad for the winter? Not trying to be rude. I do like it. Is it popular in the US? I ould have this cold, is it cold?
No idea what a kabob is !
Sheperds pie, or a scrumpy fish pie with boiled eggs and lumps of cheese, prawns and mixed fish all in a herby white sauce under a mash topping!
Kebab?
How spicy?
You can ALWAYS vote on the polls.😀
A nice casserole/"hot pot". I'm very lucky to have a hubby that makes it (he trained as a chef). We like lots of veg in it - anything from red or white onions, swede, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes Inc sweet potatoes, green beans etc and we usually put chicken or pork with it as the meat. He adds stock cubes or pots and spices/herbs to season.
Kabob sounds lovely I'm from United Kingdom never heard of it xx
Just had tuna and hummus mixed together today for my lunch! Really good and better for you than mayo and tuna.
Nice. im going to try that for my partner as he eats tuna, but isn't over keen on the taste. I've never thought of mixing hummus with it, thank you.
You're welcome! What flavor do you want to use?
I don't know but i would definitely want to try homemade, what works best?
Recently, I had Olive flavored hummus and mixed it with the tuna. Really good taste. I have also tried the Red Pepper Hummus flavor and tuna together. Both are good to try for the first time. If he doesn't like either flavor, then try the regular hummus and see what your partner likes. Please let us know which you end up having.
How very interesting! Be warned some 3 bean salad are not as tasty as others. I stick to the branded ones.
Home made soup. You can't beat it. Low calorie and very filling.
My fave fall / winter good is vegan Mac & Cheese.
Hey champak, some make almond milk, then dry the flour out to make pancakes.
I use rice flour as i love the taste, i never add sugar etc. I dont eat wheat, or gluten free flours very often.
Only eat rice flour as my body loves it.
I love making almond milk in my magic mix.
This sounds great. Do you have pancakes for breakfast year round or just during the Fall/Winter seasons/months?
Hi i do have them all year round. At weekends mainly.
I put in rice flour, olive oil, goats or almond milk, baking powder, egg.
So for my body they are very good.
I dont eat gluten free flours, wheat, potato starch, coconut, yeast, sugar very often.
So i dont buy normal bread etc so they come in handy.
I like melted goats butter on top or hot berries or eggs/bacon or my honey (but rarely as it cost £35 lol)
I love eating pancakes that are made with gluten free flours since I have a wheat intolerance (had it for a few years now). i also use the gluten free flour for waffles and add fruits depending what we have in the house.

Na not diabetic. I had gut fermentation syndrome lol, its a bit different to diabetes, i had over 21 food intolerances & 2 stone weight loss in 6 months. Then 1 stone weight loss in 5 days. So had to wear kids cloths.
I should be dead, thank god for me i found the right diet for my body when i did.
Wow, so many people voted for soup.
I use assorted vegetables like squash, potatoes, loads of carrots, celery, onions, scotch bonnets, herbs....thyme, garlic, ginger, crushed black peppers, stock cubes (veg/chicken).
But now, I have decided to go vegan. So I will be changing my ingredients!
I chose soup because 1.Soup is so lovely and warm and 2.Because I'm in love with homemade croutons!!!!!!!
I love casseroles and stews...perhaps with dumpling or lentils or pearl barley. Also nice warm porridge in the morning.
That sounds great! I like lentil soup.
Yes, I want to make some lentil soup, but have asked a question just now on this site about whether safe to reheat...instructions on the packet say one shouldn't! And I don't want to throw out any left over. Such a waste.
