I had tryd to put my point of view but some people seem to think it's all about me I have told people about my illness and try to help them in the way I get over some of the thing I go through
I don't understand why these are only negative choices. I would like to vote, but none of the above apply.
Yes, I couldn't understand that either. I know they are only allowed so many points but I thought it was 8 so they could have put a positive response in. Maybe it is intended to spark more activity on the site.
If the question were worded correctly to fit the choices then it would make sense. Rather than ask "What affects your participation...." it should read "What prevents you from participating...". But in a forum about weight loss and self improvement I expect the language to shy away from the negative, so they have probably made a conscious decision to use ambiguous or positive language.
I try to give an opinion to some people but they don't reply.

All the possible answers assume the respondent is not contributing - unless the final "I would like to participate more, but I haven't had time" covers those of us (all of us, surely) who can't be here 24/7. It almost seems like a way of making us feel guilty about that. I haven't voted.
I dip in and out of these sites and if I have I can encourage a person then I will post a comment not really expecting a reply. Most of the time I am just happy to read what is going on.
