Forest lake revisited.

β€’13 Replies

Hello everyone,

I haven't posted any photo's for a while so here's one I took this morning, I had to take my car for an MOT so decided to drop it iff and go and sit by the lake and then take the long way home...I enjoyed sitting here very much and felt that I didn't have a care in the world.

I haven't been for many walks recently due to injury and being very busy at home so it was very enjoyable as I walked 2.5 miles home by the forest.

Here's a winter photo I took at there:

Thank you Debs, I'm on the mend as 3 miles was OK. 😊

I'm so pleased Jerry, you must be so busy as well : > a little rest and time to recover

What a beautiful photo and what a fabulous looking place to be. Sorry you've had a recent injury, hope you are back on your feet very soon. Well done on walking 2.5 miles, especially with an injuryπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

Sorry to hear you’ve not been able to go for walks but pleased you are improving now. There is an amazing contrast between the 2 photos, the seasons have such a big effect. I personally love the colours and lighting on this one, it looks so relaxing, warm and peaceful. x

in reply to Caz28

Hi Caz28 thank you at least it's only a ligament strain, I'm not very good at sitting still but have plenty to do without straining it.

The lake looks beautiful because of the reflection I think as it enhances its natural beauty. Jerry 😊

Beautiful photo. Very different from the winter one! Looks like a peaceful spot.

Thanks Ali, it reminds me a poetry book I'm reading, "The clouds should know me by now"

Hi Hidden

That is a lovely photo, and a tranquil place. I can see why you like it so much.

Sorry to hear you're injured currently, and I hope that you recuperate well so you can enjoy more walks in the future - but you managed 2.5 miles home by the forest, and that's great!

Look after yourself. Hope you have a relaxing afternoon.

Zest :-)

I hope that you have a great afternoon yourself.

Jerry. 😊
