Exercise and reducing your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. πŸŒ²πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Hi everyone,

Walking and walking in a pleasant environment is known to improve our health and well being. Being out in nature can be very relaxing and therapeutic I wouldn't advise sneaking up on a family of wild boars hoping for a family photo as they're shy and fiercely protective of their young and having a wild board snort at you in rage raises your blood pressure for some reason...πŸ€” But I'd rather risk that than not having enough exercise and developing type 2 diabetes as that can have life changing consequences. Exercise a healthy balanced diet and enough sleep seems to be a magic combination for not risking obesity and or type 2D.

The photo is of the forest and shows how it is gradually turning green which I find enchanting as the leafing trees are almost ghost like from a distance, so another reason to see what Mother Nature has to offer us rather than hitting the shops and cafe's...😊

Hi Hidden

Wow, that's a lovely view of the trees - so many shades of green. Lovely :-)

Walking is excellent for so many things - and having exercise, a healthy balanced diet and sufficient sleep - that is a great formula for well-being.

Thank you Zest and I thought of what you said before about the trees looking like a painting by numbers, as they do have that indistinct look this time of year.

It's the simple basics of being healthy leading to a sense of well being. 😊

I know - I remember saying that last time, and felt I should have seen an Impressionist painting instead, but I thought of 'painting by numbers' as it seemed very appropriate at the time. :-)

Jerry, l love your post as always. Wild anything will definitely ones raise blood pressure! I once discover l was sharing a huge blackberry patch with a bear... l immediately left it to the wildlife... now that's a memory l will never forget. I am sure your wild boars will have a special place in your memory too. Keep On Walking... Granni B

Thank you GranniB, thats a lovely thing to say and if a wild pig can scare me off I imagine a bear would terrify me. And thats a lovely memory you have there. 😊
