Hi everyone,

This is one of my favourite songs I know that Tom waits has a gravelly voice but I've odd taste and often think... I'm going to take the long way home...and enjoy doing so.

Here it is on Youtube:

The photo is one of my favourite walks where the forest is behind me and I can see the river from the top of the hill.

Very apt Jerry. Lovely to have a song to accompany your post. Your photo looks very professional.

Thanks Ali, I love music and I love being out in the middle of nowhere. 😊

Hi Hidden

I'm going to listen to the song tomorrow - as I can't play anything out loud just now - but I am admiring the lovely photo and scenery from your walk. Really great!

Zest :-)

Thank you Zest, I think to shows how beautiful the countryside is regardless of the weather as there was misty drizzle which was clearing. 😊

Great song Jerry. I like Tom Waits particularly his Closing Time album and Martha is one of my favourite songs. Which album is this song on ?
