The link below relates to the Keesha Vessell Vasculitis walk.

Having a son with Vasculitis this is very close to my heart. 🙂

What Is Vasculitis?

Vasculitis is a condition that involves inflammation in the blood vessels. The condition occurs if your immune system attacks your blood vessels by mistake. This may happen as the result of an infection, a medicine, or another disease or condition.

“Inflammation” refers to the body’s response to injury, including injury to the blood vessels. Inflammation may involve pain, redness, warmth, swelling, and loss of function in the affected tissues.

In vasculitis, inflammation can lead to serious problems. Complications depend on which blood vessels, organs, or other body systems are affected.

Hi Ali, this is very interesting and it can't have been easy for you or your family so I'm so sorry for your son and all of you.

I'm sure that there's food like turmeric that help reduce inflammation and I'm also aware of the link between dairy products and inflammation of our sinuses, so I think by avoiding dairy and processed foods you're giving your son the best treatment.

Here's a really interesting link about vasculitis and natural remedies:

Being a coeliac I'm interested in the common ground of our immune disorders as I have also developed microscopic colitis so the individual cells of my colon are prone to bleeding and I keep it under control with a whole food gluten free vegetarian diet. And what helped me was accepting that me being a coeliac was how Mother Nature made me as the psychological impact of an immune disorder can be just as devastating to our morale as the illness itself...

I wish you and your family well with this. 😊

Hi Jerry, as you we’ll know AI diseases are with you all day every day. I think you have done well to keep yourself so fit and healthy. My son has coped incredibly well and has just dealt with what has come his way. He has some damage but as yet it never went to his organs just his vocal cords and sinuses so things never got as bad as we were told they would but he is still young. It’s a long road ahead. We add turmeric and black pepper to everything and he is good at taking responsibility for his own health.

Unfortunately my son is not vegan but he has cut out milk and sugar.

I admire your great attitude Jerry and thank you for your kind words 🙏

Hi Ali, It must be hard being young with all this going on.

What I have realised is that I used to feel so ill before diagnosis that I appreciate feeling well and that is a gift because money cannot buy it and it is whoosh above the heads of most people...

So if you can help your son to feel the same it may help him.

And again good luck with this. 🙂
