I had an illness a few years back which lead me to be in an induced coma. Everything was fine after (physical), but I suffered terribly from flashbacks and nightmares. I can’t bare the smell of baby wipes as I associate the smell with the ICU ward. It took months after to admit I was struggling mentally. If anyone is going through a similar situation or knows someone who is, feel free to message me if you want to ask any questions. I am much better now and I’m at university to become a mental health nurse.
