YES! I know exactly what you mean. For me it comes on when I'm reading, writing, talking, or just really exhausted. My doctor just put me on pregabalin (for nerve pain) to try and help with this - it's taking a while to get past the side effects, but it does seem to be helping with the pain. Maybe something to look into.

I have a dent in my head and sometimes it hurts and feels like pins and needles . It’s not all the time but it’s extremely sore. I tend to rub it I think it’s a sort of comfort as you rub your hand or leg if you hurt it. Hope it helps Liz xx🌹🙏

Rubbing helps bring blood to the area I think - winner!

Yes. On the main impact point on my head (was bashed on 3 sides) I have ten stitches, and on this spot I get alot of heat, pins/needles, shooting pains. It builds and builds over days or weeks until I go into full body tremors then crash.

I take gabapentin, which has significantly reduced the frequency and duration of the pain of my migraines so that might be worth a try for you?

I've not found that it helps much with the other non- pain migraine elements though like tremors, light/ noise sensitivity, walking problems, word finding difficulties etc.

And it hasn't completely eliminated pain (been in bed on full meds with ice cap today) but it really has made a difference.

Been to hospital today they told me it’s the nerve endings coming back to life which is why I’m in so much pain 🙈

Yes, I still have this after several years (at the trauma site). Very debilitating when it strikes. I also found that cold weather seems to make it worse. I was told it was damaged nerve endings. Glad you managed to see someone about it 🙂
