Hello short version of my gp: changing drs due to serious amount of failings by my exisiting dr and my new dr has signed me off for a week so I have a dr note to give you and my new dr wants to see me every month but I can see her sooner if required rebecca

See my gp note which says;

she may get worse we would be grateful if you could be mindful of this

And the letter from biru I never received which I will read later

In short I'm one relieved lady

Hope it carries on being good-as primary care is pants with neuro, most the time! I think the problem with alot of GP's now,is that they are just drug dispensers!

When i thought my executive problems were ADHD,he referred me to an Autism place, even tho i had right address. Then when i refused it as i don't have Autism,he also didn't like me questioning him being wrong(ADHD place even said i was right!),then told me if i don't like it to change drs,i did then she argued i ever had a brain injury(NHS might throw away notes,i don't !)!

Now back to surgery before that one,& good so far(cos i never see them! LOL)!

It's a nightmare to get seen by a good dr I did originally have one when I first joined but she leave and I got this one and now I have changed 3 drs and so ma y trainee drs in between in like 6 years

Hate the trainees cos they need explaining to all over again,& just tick a box, give a drug!

Same with me-was a good dr when was at surgery i back with before, but now she away on maternity leave! :(

She always said ''if u wanna come in for a chat every few weeks, please do''. I just didn't wanna waste her time(shame other people in surgery not like me!). Also realised in notes that she really tried to get me help-was crappy MH team that didn't want to deal with me. Cos their inactivity led to me being arrested before!

National health service sucks

in reply to bexx87

Certainly has sucked in my & fiance's experience. Is all tick a box give a drug,& no referrals/scans unless people dying, and dumb down all diagnoses-just to save money!

Tho my fiance will defend cos bad memory where they failed her! Plus probably all the meds she on(Olanzapine,Lithium, depo injection!)!

Ita just annoying that you have fight fight fight before it gets right fight 1 person is bad enough but I've spend a year fight 2 (manager and gp) to get to this resolution and stage but ita more proof that the NHS do have some really good kick ass people but they also have some evil ones

in reply to bexx87

Agreed.

And thank god i was able to photocopy all notes i wanted at one surgery-they seem to bin things yearly(mostly when they old diagnoses that dispute recent one'!). Can only get 'summary care record' now which is full of useless rubbish like dentistry & MH teams saying rubbish that didn't happen which got me arrested!

I could write a book if i had the energy! LOL

Yup this is why I always make sure I a copy digital or physical or both I can fill a silo will all my various NHS letters over the years

What i like to hear! :)

I only started getting notes cos of DWP,didn't know loads of things i do now-has backfired at their attempts to give me zero points(well up til now anyway!)!
