Meningioma removal

Hi, I had a meningioma removed in May but due to a large amount of swelling I suffered a stroke.

At the moment the right side of my face is experiencing lots of different sensations. I just don't feel with it so to speak.

I am having to learn to use my left arm/hand again & my left leg is weak although my walking has improved alot.

Early days I would say. Keep practicing to reboot your brain.

Any type of brain surgery will cause neurological disruption for some considerable time ; certainly more than three months. Your brain still has much work to do in both healing and reconfiguring its many functions, so eat healthy, take plenty of rest and fluid. Walks in the fresh air are good for mind & body ; meanwhile, keep expectations to a minimum 'til your symptoms abate.

Best wishes...…… x
