Hi, as someone who suffered a brain injury 6 years ago and who lives with the daily effects of physical impairment, I want to highly recommend this book by Robert McCrum "My Year Off", detailing his experience of stroke and subsequent recovery.

I've been able to greatly relate to his story, and only wish I'd come across this 6 years ago.

I recommend this to you in the hope that Robert's experience may be a comfort to those living with brain injury.

Thanks for recommendation. I read a book cannot remember how I got to get it call."HOW TO REBOOT MY BRAIN" etc, whose surname was ROSS, can't remember surname. She had practically an exact experience as me but she had a SAH that bled into both eyes called TERSON'S SYNDROME whereas I only had a bleed into my right eye, which involved an operation called a vitrectomy and ERM peel.
