Knocked for six by the weather

Had a strange day with my head yesterday, not felt like that ( and today too) for a long time.

I had an acupuncture appointment luckily, and really struggled to get there. By the time I did I was quite distressed, had my feeling of not being in the real world, I was just watching everything happening around me.

Any way, she concentrated the acupuncture on my head, neck and spine and by the time I left I was much better. At least I could function again. Once home I had an hours nap and normality resumed although I was exhausted.

I woke in the night because the wind was howling and this morning it is just as bad.

So, my conclusion is that it’s the change in weather again, I’ve said for years now, the weather affects my head and balance.

We’ve had such a spell of good weather I’d forgotten how I could be knocked sideways by a change like yesterday’s.

Well, it’s brought me back to earth now and reminded me of what I can expect again. Perhaps I’ll try wearing earplugs and see if they help when I go out.

I feel your pain! I’m very sensitive to pressure changes, I’m even convinced my epilepsy worsens In low pressure. Hope you feel better soon!

Yup, my headaches and fatigue strike sometimes if the barometric pressure fluctuates madly. That's the problem living on an island in the Atlantic, we're at the mercy of a mix of weather fronts. Somedays I feel crucified, other days, just fine. There's a definite physiological effect on the brain that I've noticed.

I'm glad the acupuncture helped x

My mind and body are constantly at odds with each other where weather's concerned. I love the idea of hot, sunny weather but I've really struggled this past few weeks with overheating and feeling spaced out. Housework & gardening have been a big challenge !

So it's more the heat than pressure for me Janet, but I reckon we Bi-ers are all easily knocked sideways by extremes and changes in the atmosphere.

Keep up with the acupuncture m'love ; glad it helps.

Lots of love ..........and love to Jenny, Eileen xxx
