Janet Is Real!

I can confirm that the lovely Janet exists and is indeed, lovely!

Met her and her hubby this afternoon for a quick drink in order to discuss the fact that she's travelling to Lincoln to take part in Walk With The Baron with me! And that she's determined to walk the full 26 miles! She's as fabulous as you all think and a true inspiration also!

The idea is that you walk as far as you like, 26 miles or 26 inches, it doesn't matter. Just walking and raising awareness is what it"s all about

sorry I should have said its too far to join you. I'm in Hants. Also I couldn't attempt 26 miles as I have cfs issues.

How odd this is.............but absolutely true :- Before my SAH, I was at a nightclub in the Goyt valley and, very drunk, told my pals to leave me as I wanted to stay all night. After escaping from a weirdo I decided to walk home and, with no money and wearing red stilettos, 👠 I walked to Dunham Massey where I'd parked my car (at friend's house).

I finished the journey in bare feet but couldn't drive home as my legs went into spasms of hellish cramp, with toes splayed in all directions. Couldn't walk for several days.

I've just looked on Google maps and, guess what ?..........the distance along the M56 where I walked is 26.5 miles. Weird or what.........
