Hi just received a letter telling me I am being changed to PIP as I have been on high rate disability. Being 68 and with a history of illness and now my TBI and stroke also really bad tremor you would think that these people should stop stressing people out, but I surpose we must follow the rules. I have telephone age concern and they are going to send a lady out to help me fill in the form as with my tremor it would be impossible for me to do it.. I will keep you informed of my progress. I do read daily and follow you all but felt as if my condition and disability are not as severe as you all but thought I would share this one. Again many thanks for all your support Love Liz

What a wonderful society it would be if people contacted 68 year old people with health issues to ask how they're doing, and if there's anything they need, instead of simply checking to make sure they're only receiving the barest minimum !

Hi Cat, thanks for your reply I have just come out of hospital after another op on my leg this will have been my fifth on the same leg so hopefully this time it will work. I have had four knee replacements on the same knee and now a total revision but following this op I suffered so much swelling that I have had to have another op to remove the inflammation, The consultant told me he had to hover out all the inflammation and that he has taken biopsy’s to discover what has gone wrong. I will find out in six weeks. While I was in hospital I had a text from PIP informing me to text post for the forms to be posted to me, I had already told them to post them to me. Anyway hope your Ok with Much regards Liz xx

Good grief Liz, you've been through the mill with those knee problems. Touch wood it's 5th time lucky !
