After my lumbar puncture (Thursday PM) my back had been a little painful but nothing too bad this morning (Monday) I woke up with a throbbing headache which is worse when I walk or sit up I had some hot flushes and felt dizzy and sick - lay down now and headache has gone as soon as I sit up it comes back again - could this be from lumbar puncture ?

Were you not given an advice sheet about what to expect after a lumber puncture? If not or if is different to what the sheet describes then you need to contact the doctor who carried out or requested the lumber puncture for advice. We are not medically trained on here and it would be wrong to advise you especially as don't know why you had it done either. Do get medical advice. Best wishes.
More than likely, I was in a coma when my lumbar punctures were done so I have no recollection. Strawberry has given you great advice, anything that gives you cause for concern contact the professionals x
Like already said it sounds like it is the cause but get medical advice to confirm. I had a couple many years ago and did suffer headaches for a while after but it would not hurt to ring your gp.
Yes, I think it might be...(one of the many possible side effects from having epidural analgesia in childbirth).
Do check with yr doctors asap.
Hope it settles soon
I suffered headaches after mine and was told the CSP needs to be replaced and a headache is a side effect. If you are worried, do what others do and ask a doctor. Good Luck, hope it soon passes.
