This doesn't answer your question but I just don't understand sometimes why people buy and take medication when they know that it can have side effects (lead to more illness).

I know in some cases people can't do a lot about it and would have to use modern medication but for something as simple as a cold or chesty cough people are happy to pay for a medication that could take weeks to work when you could buy some ground ginger and add it to water or even drinking herbal teas or inhale menthol... most natural things are much more effective.

I had pharyngitis once and I was put on antibiotics. The antib's did get rid of the infection but then got thrush on my tongue! Getting thrush was the side effect. This was before I learnt more about natural remedies. If I got pharyngitis again, I would not be taking antib's that the doc prescribed.

There are a lot of lies in this world and a lot of the population have been duped.

Most medications have side effects...we like the good ones but dislike the unwanted ones.

Xeralto is blood thinning? I preferred the old fashioned warfarin as it's reversible in the event of any accident or urgent surgical procedure.

If you're having unwanted side effects it's probably best to speak with yr gp or pharmacist.
