Does any one else feel like they constantly have to be on the go and if they don't they get tired and bored.
If I sit and do nothing like meditate I fall asleep and I cant simply take a 30 min nap as it turns in to a 5 or 7 hour sleeping marathon.
Even now in work with a quiet work load I am getting tired as my brain isn't occupied
Normally when this happens I flick between 2 work load queues or email boxes and see if I can do any small thing to help keep it down and drink a shed load of coffee.
When I sit and do nothing I also think a lot which makes me tires and I tend to wind myself up which is when the headphones come in to "shut my brain off"
And if I tell my manager that I have a quiet work load he will either go look at the queue or learn something new and this is where I get lost as I don't know what to learn new and if I did find something to learn I need to put it into practice to remember it

Hi Bex i have this same issue ...i cant travel on buses and trains due to many things but one of them is falling asleep .. concentrating causes me to simply shut down completely And i wind up making myself ill in other ways like my legs becoming swollen through staying on my feet to not miss things .. exercise helps a bit
I know exactly what you mean about concentration and sleep. With me, I find my mind wanders easily and then I realise that Ive been asleep but don't actually recall dropping off.
I brought some tea cakes yesterday and I had them next to me and I went to grab one and realised that they weren't on my desk and I asked on of my colleagues and he said he moved it joking and said that I watched him pick up the box and walk off with it and I said nothing but I have no recollection of seeing him do that
