my relationship doesn't feel like one anymore is this normal?

hi everyone I'm very new to this my partner had a serious car accident in November he has made a remarkable recovery but really struggles with is brain damage, his short term memory is quite bad and he also has severe anxiety which can be a struggle, is it wrong that I feel like I am trapped and don't know what to do? I feel that out relationship is no longer the same and that I am single yet im not? thank u for reading xx

I don't know. I haven't had a relationship since my accident. They too complicated.

but I'd say that stick with them a bit longer because the beginning stage is fastest recovery and they will change a lot.

thank u for ur reply I've bottled this up for such a while now I will keep giving it time its judt such a scary place to be right now
