Definitely interesting. .. at this point largely irrelevant because they've not developed any specific treatments based on the data. WhiLe I personally agReed that there is a vascular component to many migraines, this article ignores post traumatic migraine, etc. It's an oversimplification of a very complex phenomenon and anything that states it has the answer is straight out the door with me --- and any other professional who knows anything about migraine and/or headache disorders.

I don't think this explains all 'migraines' just those stand alone migraines when there has been no other injury to the brain. It's probably a bit misleading for us on here with brain injuries.

Slightly off topic but in (one of) the impact areas on my brain I often experience heat/pins needles/numbness when overly fatigued which neurologist described as pain free migraines.

This often coincides with significantly increased sensitivity to conflicting noises.

This usually builds and gets worse over a period of weeks until my body will suddenly go into tremors then it disappears.

Does anyone else get this?

I get two other types of migraines with pain too and these produce normal facial numbness/sickness/light & noise sensitivity but it feels very different and usually lasts less than 24 hours rather than weeks.

Anyone similar?
