Gallbladder removed

Hi all.hope things r goin ok fr you.i finaly had gallbladder removed on wenesday.im at home now.in a bit of pain.n im dreading when i finaly go to the toilet.but im due to go on holiday in sept.so using all my strength n hope to get well asap.take care everyone n thankyou for always being here fr me xx

Hey Ricozoe ; great to see you !

I had mine removed a year to the day after my SAH. I was out of hospital the same day and not really in pain afterwards except for a bit of discomfort from the way they manhandle you in surgery.

Mine was done using keyhole surgery so not even any need for stitches ; they just glued the holes back together !

I'm sure you'll be fine in a couple of weeks, and the loo shouldn't be a problem either. I wasn't sorry to say goodbye to mine after all the pain it caused me............ so much worse then childbirth !!

I'm ok thanks ; still with same old issues, but had a really busy week so resting today. How've you been aside from the GB problem........and how are your family ? x
