Well finally i am out of the litigation process, have taken a few months to get used to being cut loose from the consuming nature of litigation and had to deal with the reality of the claim is over but the brain injury is not.
I have decided to start a blog, feel free to read, comment & share
I'm afraid the answer to your blog's heading 'When will I get better' is never. Sounds depressing I know, but when you've stopped thinking in terms of a return to previous life & accepted that you're a different person in certain ways, you can start to build on it.
Once you've accepted the changes you can invent ways round your shortcomings, and learn to avoid certain situations. I could no more attend a concert than do backflips .................. the penalty being very much as you've described above.
After 5 years you'll have a feeling for what your limits are. Pushing at those limits carefully is fine, but you'll probably suffer every time you overstep the mark too far !!
I'm 4 years on and made many misjudgements in that time, & I'll probably make many more.
