TRYING HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Was in a coma 2013 still have terrible headaches and poor concentration, terrible fear/anxiety, depression. I have been offered some hyperbaric oxygen therapy at a reduced cost on the condition I stop smoking. Now on day 2 after 35 years. Desperate for some kind treatment though on day 2 of the smoking have to be clear 2 weeks before starting therapy. Think I need some prayers xx

Are you just stopping cold turkey or are you using patches or gum? I stopped 2years ago best thing I ever did, but by god I was the hardest!

I used patches and took my dog walking lots. My other half still smokes but I can't stand the smell or taste anymore.

I used to say every night before I went to sleep, I don't smoke I don't like smoke, I don't like the smell, the taste makes me feel physically sick. I am not a smoker anymore.

Sounds a bit whaky but it worked for me.

Whatever you try I hope you manage it.

Hi Danslate - Glad you were able to stop. I'm using the nicotine inhalator just taking small amounts here and there to alleviate the craving. I will try the self talk about don't smoke etc definitely believe in that sort of thing. Thanks for the encouragement.

i wold love to no how it goes good luck , walton aid for me 2 have it but england/ wales they gp, rest wil not allow it, im even thinking moving 5ish miles 2 get help let us no and good luck v
