How many of you are still able to enjoy a good book? I find that I can't remember them as well as I'd like.

Not as much, I have finite constraction levels, and thus I often just find I'm just too tired. Though I am slowly reading more, I used to be a night owl but each time I ramp up slightly what I'm doing I end up sleeping 10-12hrs at least, and being exhausted until I ajust

Reading and writing were a huge part of my life, but since my injury both are very hard indeed. Reading is really hard because I forget what I have just read...sometimes I can make it through a whole paragraph before the train derails and other times I don't make it to the end of a sentence. Sadly the memory probs kiboshed the writing too and I had to find another calling... I still have the draft MS I was working on at the time of my injury and I refuse to give up on the idea that maybe one day I will finish it....I'm not dead yet LOL

One day you will!! But yes, I know what you mean I could read three pages and not know what I read also.

Why don't you try audio books like I do as I, like others struggle to retain any information and process the story of the plot.

I love reading! It's the only thing that helps me switch off and give me some sanity in between my stressful job and hectic home life. Just finished reading The Happiness Mindset by Brandon Stanberg. Loved it.
