I was just reviewing a long article online about the connection between chronic hepatitis C infection (HCV) and why it can lead to liver cancer in some cases. It raises a lot of questions about liver cancer risk, about why some people develop HCC and some people don't, and how much the risk of developing liver cancer changes once you have had successful treatment.
There are so many unanswered questions. Hopefully we can start to unravel these mysteries and in doing so find new treatments and cures in the future. What questions does this raise for you?
