ADT duration data measures
odd query but when reading studies and research on ADT duration they refer to months or years - I am curious as the implants are often prescribed monthly or 3 monthly but that actually means 4 weekly or 12 weekly with such ADT as
goserelin

New primary plus first progression
I had a mastectomy and axillary clearance left side and then palbociclib, letrezole, monthly
goserelin
and denusamab. I have just found out I have my first progression spine and possible lesion on my liver but more concerning a new primary lobular carcinoma in my right breast and armpit lymph.

Should I sell and retire with PSA at 0.1 following 9 months undetectable?
Triplet therapy with ongoing
goserelin
and abiraterone with prednisone. Abiraterone is once per day with a low fat meal. Following nine months of undetectable PSA results, I recently received the news that my PSA is no longer undetectable and is now at 0.1.

goserelin and ACTH
I am wondering how and if GnRH medications like Zoladex impact the ACTH production and if the activity of the adrenal production of adrenal androgens feeds the prostate cancer cells independently of the LH / testosterone route. Also as cortisol is increased with various other physical and psychological

Goserelin - side effects profile variability between implants
OK, I know that living with PCa can play havoc with my relationship with reality that uncertainty is about the only sure fire certainty. So I am aware that the side effects of ADT are both real and yet also exacerbated or lessened by my mood, which of course is also subject to the impact of having

Any coming back from this?
Started on
goserelin
. PSA: 8.7. August 2022: Considered for enrollment in a clinical trial but found ineligible due to the absence of HRD mutation. September 2022: Started abiraterone. PSA: 12.6. CT scan showed some decrease in prostatic mass but progression in other areas.

Zoladex injection today
Hi, I was due to have my prostab injection today but I’m having Zoladex instead. I’ve read in the past that it’s painful and googled a pic of the needle 🤯 needle looks huge. I normally have Buserelin but there’s a shortage . Doctor or nurse will be giving it to me later today, is it really awful

Protocol for FET - Anyone had similar??
Hi everyone! Had egg collection & PGT and we have 1 suitable embryo. Call today with 2 proposed protocols, medicated & natural. We are leaning more towards medicated which entails Prostap, Progynova, Buserelin & Cycolgest. Curious if anyone else has experienced this and what to expect?? TIA ❣️

Switch of medication
I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

Advice for managing adenomyosis
Hello fellow IVF warriors 💗 I wondered if anyone can give me some advice on how to manage adenomyosis whilst going through IVF? A bit of background on me: I started the IVF process in May 2022 after a year and half of trying naturally for our second child, who would be a sibling to our baby

Found out pregnant while on buserelin
I started buserelin 0.5 ml Jan 21, Jan 25 I got my first faint line on a pregnancy test which was a miracle as I’ve been infertile for 4 years I’m 29 years old. I messaged my clinic they said continue until beta test. I’m stopping the meds now (Jan 29) but so so scared this will affect me, my dr said

Egg Donor Transfer
Hi We have selected our egg donor!! We are using frozen eggs currently in the bank at our clinic. Well, they are in their UK branch and we are using a clinic in Dublin, so the the eggs need to be transported over. Prior to transferring, our clinic has recommended me having an Endo Trio test, which

Buserelin awful side effects
Hello everyone I am on day 15 of Buserelin and have been really suffering with side effects pretty much since day 1. I’ve had a head splitting headache, nausea, V&D (gross sorry!) and have barely been able to stay awake. I’m a teacher and I’ve had to have most of the last fortnight off too, which is

Question on Lubion
Hi wonderful people, inexhaustible source of wisdom. I had my (second) lining scan today, it was finally 7,3 mm and I was given the ok to start progesterone in preparation of FET day that will be next Saturday 🤞🤞🤞 I’ve been instructed to start cyclogest pessaries and lubion injections tomorrow.

Nafarelin
Hi! I’m about to enter my second cycle of IVF, a frozen transfer this time. I’ve been subscribed Nafarelin nasal spray. I didn’t know a nasal spray was on the agenda (not that I’m phased!). Has anyone else had this? I googled and it’s instead of buserelin injections. Does this mean I might not have to

Prepping for Round 2
Hello ladies! I’m planning to start a second IVF cycle in January (when I’ll turn age 40!) and feeling hopeful. First cycle was BFN with short protocol so we are trying long protocol this time with Nafarelin (Synarel) nasal spray and Menopur. Has anyone had luck with this combo? Also we had the option

Buserelin Shortage - Any recommendations?
Hi all, We are due to start our final round of IVF with the NSH in the new year. Have been recommended Buserelin but there is a national shortage. Drs seem keen for us to use this as responses weren’t great in previous cycles. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to source Buserelin? I have
