OHSS, how long after egg collection?
I have all the risk factors for OHSS, but we are mitigating as much as possible (
gnrh
agonist trigger, freezing eggs, Cabergoline, clexane and
gnrh
antagonist for the next few days). For those who have had OHSS, how long after the collection did you start to get symptoms?

Pain relief advice
I have been contemplating going privately or trying
GnRh
injections until I get a date. I can't have the contraceptive pill, ibuprofen or the coil. Has anyone got any advice on pain relief going forward until I can have this laprocospy again? Currently taking mefenamic acid. Thank you 🙂

Periods After GNRH Injections
Just wondering when did your cycles return back to normal after stopping
GNRH
injections (zoladex etc)? I’m only a few days after the 28 days mark so not sure what to expect.

GnRH analogues
Hi all, I am due to be starting injectable
GnRH
analogues soon alongside a HRT, dose anyone have any advice/ guidance on them and their side effects and management? In the past I have had Nafarelin (Synarel). The plan is to have these before surgery as NHS wait is 50 weeks where I am.

Scared of GnRH as symptoms include osteoporosis, alopecia and hot flashes. Endo and fibroid.
Gyna suggested surgery but must take
GnRH
for 6 months pre surgery to avoid blood loss and eventually hysterectomy. I'm 29.
GnRH
side effects scares me - alopecia osteoporosis depression weight gain. I'm a very active person, an artist and marketing professional.

Surgery follow-up appointment
The doctor then went to speak to the consultant who did my surgery, and she suggested getting the
GnRH
Analogue Injections and going on HRT to prevent the side effects of the injections. Has anyone been put on this treatment plan and is willing to share their experience?

hysterectomy advice
I’ve started
GNrH
injections (had 4) and saw the consultant today for a review and to discuss surgery. Surgery would be a complete hysterectomy but obviously there would be assistance from potential other teams (colorectal team). Has anyone had the surgery and if so any pros or cons?

Periods returning?
I have been on 2 different
GNRH
analogues for 2.5 years ish. I have decided to come off the injections as I can no longer tolerate the side effects. Especially joint pains. How long does it take for your periods to return? Will they be as bad as before? Thanks

GnRH Injections & Mirena Coil
Also, may sound stupid but if you have the Mirena &
GnRH
+ Tibolone - is there a possibility I could start bleeding again?

Orgovyx with BAT Questions
Q: Since Orgo lowers LH Luteinizing hormone FSH Follicle-Stimulating Hormone by competitively binding to the
GnRH
receptors. Does this interfere with any other processes in the body? In other words does LH and FSH have any other roles in our body?

where do I go from here…
I sought help again and asked to be referred to an endo specialist centre - only to be seen 13 months later and not placed on the endometriosis clinic… I was told I had to try the coil initially and then look at
Gnrh
injections which I really don’t want to go down the route of having due to the side

Not sure what to do....
As of December 2023, I have been put on
GnRH
(Triptorelin) with add back (Tibolone) and frankly I am wondering where this merry-go-round of feeling dreadful stops?! 🤯 My day-to-day quality of life is not good at all.

ADT duration
Is it 24 months from my starting Bicalutimide or 24 months from starting the
GnRH
Zoladex or 24 months from the end of radiotherapy? I’ve seen lots of discussion about 12, 18, 24 and 36 months but find it hard to find if these include pre ADT or post RT ADT.

Can you reject GNRH analogues? Consequences? Please help.
The surgeon called last week in response to some questions I had and made an offhand remark about having a shot for
GNRH
analogues. I had no idea what she was talking about. She made no mention of this during the pre-op consultation I had in March.

ASCO 2023 Poster: Androgen-deprivation therapy and risk of dementia in patients with prostate cancer:Clinical outcomes from real-world data.
The highest risk was witnessed with
GnRH
antagonists (degarelix), with a 92% increased risk. Interestingly, the increased risk of dementia in ADT groups was observed only among whites but not in African Americans.
