Does anybody know of a decent app for iphone that I can obtain. I also need one for going to Spain in June.

You probably don't need one for Spain. They are so clued up. The smallest of supermarkets sell gf foods clearly labelled. The restaurants are all gf aware. It is a complete pleasure to visit there. You may want to take your own gf bread, I didn't like the ones on sale.

Hi

You can get an app that translates what you can and cannot eat, I found one or two waiters and chefs wanted to read it to get it absolutely correct and out of interest, in some cases I've had to state 'I'm not dairy free, just gluten free'! I assume because they've had coeliacs that can't take dairy. I've also been asked if I can eat potatoes! However, I agree with jillp they are the most clued up country I've been to.

The app is called gf card and is free from itunes, it's very handy in other countries so its worth downloading even if you don't need to use it this time.

I always use coeliac map whenever I go anywhere. Not sure if there is an iPhone version but definitely worth checking.
