The next one is at Liverpool in October. Do you think it's just a cake & bread fest? Or were you pleased to see a mix of big and small free from producers finally making things you'd love to eat? What were your favourite stalls & why?

I am considering the Liverpool one as it is marginally nearere to Durham than London (only by about 100 miles like) but would like to know if it is worth the effort so interested in responses.

I travelled to the show from Manchester, definitely worth a visit, lots of local stalls as well as the big names. Have to admit quite a lot of the food available was advertised as being available in wholefoods market, which is only in London and Glasgow as I understand. But it was worth the trip to learn of bezgluten polish and fria Swedish products both available online. Both amazing products with great texture as well. Lots of vouchers to pick up and all the major supermarkets where there too. All stalls had their products at a reduced price as well I only wish I could have carried more home on the train. I will definitely be looking forward to the Liverpool show.

I have been to them for the last 5/6 years. I found the suppliers were very generous with their free samples this year. So much so that at one point I thought, for possibly the first time in my life, I cannot eat one more sweet thing. It was all just too tempting; much like being in an alternate Universe where I can eat EVERYTHING! I was sick when I got home......But that didn't stop me going back two days later. I showed more restraint this time.

The show is a marvellous couple of days off from being a coeliac and, even if i cannot find the stuff in any of the shops I go to, it is nice to know it exists. I gather from a lot of the small suppliers that Ocado are taking them under their wing so we will have a huge amount of choice at that web site very soon. And as I'll already have tried most of it I won't hesitate in ordering the new products.

I went to the show for the first time this year and found it very useful. I would certainly go again. My husband and son (20 year old) came as well. There was plenty of advice, lots of samples, plenty of leaflets that I brought home with me to read later. It was good to talk to people who understood all about CD. Would recommend it, and will go again next year.
