So I finally got to see dermatologist re my suspected DH - derematitis herpetiformis -3 months since 1st appt!! She decided to do biopsy there & then - so now awaiting results & I’ve been put on antibiotics for next 6 weeks - when next appt is.

What I wasn’t told is how pain full my arm would be after the anesthetic wore off🫣🫣 but hopefully will be worth it if I get a definate diagnosis.

hi, that’s great you got an appointment- I’m nearly 4 months since I saw a dermatologist who referred me for a biopsy but hasn’t happened and no relief from symptoms.

I hope you get the answers you need and help with diagnosis. I would be interested to know how it goes.

Why antibiotics and what kind? I wonder what she did to cause you to be in so much pain from the biopsy? That makes no sense because there should not be any pain, some discomfort but pain, no.
