I love it. But only black. No milk or sugar.

Fully caffeinated. It keeps me going.

Hi I found out that if ever i am hungry and drink coffee it makes me unwell. I researched it and I remember reading that coffee can have the same effect as taking in gluten. So I never drink coffee on a empty stomach

Coffee can affect everyone in different ways. It’s acidic, so can affect your stomach, and may also stimulate your bowels to work!

Like Skiddy, I can’t drink coffee on an empty stomach, but am ok with one mid-morning, preferably with cream.

I drink it because I've got it in my mind that it helps with constipation but some would say it makes it worse ?? I would have to go through coffee withdrawal if I stop which is not nice. I only drink approx 3 cups of filter coffee am

Hm coffee. I went a good while (couple of years, maybe almost 2) without drinking coffee at all following my diagnosis of dermatitis herpetiformis (and realising myself that I felt unwell after eating and drinking certain things). Lived on peppermint tea, decaff black tea and various herbals. Then slowly, last year, I started to introduce coffee - only ever 1 cup, freshly made from freshly ground beans (never from pre-ground), and usually with or immediately after food. Seemed ok. I now allow myself a maximum of 1 cup of such coffee - or even espresso! - a day (not every day) and it seems to be ok. I don't know if my body just needed a proper full-on 'break' or what, but I seem to be ok with it now. Maybe you could try an extended period without to see if you feel any different - or to see if re-introducing it has any effect? Good luck!

Sorry : typo! Should be: "maybe almost 3" (not 2)!

I'm going to cut down to one cup a day as I'm not enjoying it anymore

I use coffee to control my migraines. it also controls my tendency toward manic. I drink one or two cups each morning with thick raw cream.

Coffee is a laxative but it’s also a diuretic and your bowels don’t want to be too dried out otherwise that can pose some some difficulties too! I used to drink coffees all day but after CD some years ago I’ve found I can only cope with 1 in a morning.

Yes I'm cutting down a bit but I can see the benefits as Movical also makes me dehydrated and have to drink lits if water so its getting the right balance and changing things around quite often !!
