Gluten free?

Had gluten free carbonara from Franky and Bennies. Had a very bad reaction less than an hour after eating it. I usually get this reaction with barley. Wondering if the sauce had barley, if the food was contaminated or if I'm not intolerant to something else. Anyone else reacted to supposed gf food?

Different types of corn bread at a restaurant with my family years ago.

Corn bread invariably has wheat in it.

It was probably cross contamination as i rarely eat out anymore as most restaurants are not really clued up about seperate cooking pots, seperate gf areas in the kitchen, clean utensils, the list is never ending!! Just because it states a gluten free dish its not always so unfortunatley-good luck!!😊
